This section of our site is devoted to case studies of the application of Cognitive Load Theory to university courses that are 'troublesome' in some way. Each case study has a summary, outlines the existing challenges of the course before redevelopment, and then details the measures used and the results achieved.
We welcome discussion on these case studies (log in to comment) and contributions of case studies. If you would like access to our new case study measure planning tool - to help you plan the measures you will use to determine the results of your intervention - please email us. Access is currently only given to study participants but the tool will be offered to everyone soon.
The menu on the left links to all current case studies. As the number of case studies grow, they will be categorised into novice and non-novice areas.
